airdisplay Air Display now supports HiDPI mode, spits out Retina graphics for new iPad

For $9.99, Air Display will transform any iOS device into an external display for your Mac or PC, and now, with its latest update, it’ll fill that device’s screen with stunning graphics – provided it’s a new iPad. Version 1.6 of Avatron’s popular app supports OS X Lion’s little-known HiDPI mode, which renders elements in double resolution, and it happily caters to the new iPad’s Retina graphics.
