Dropbox Pro accounts to double in size for no additional cost

Starting tonight, Dropbox Pro users will get twice the storage space for no additional cost, Dropbox’s Anna-Christina Douglas revealed on the company’s official blog Tuesday. Users who previously had 50GB or 100GB online lockers will automatically be upgraded to 100GB and 200GB accounts, Douglas said. And if that’s not enough, Dropbox will also offer an all-new 500GB option.

While Dropbox’s soon-to-be-expanded lockers will carry over their predecessors’ pricing, it’s not clear how much 500GB of storage will set users back.
