Apple’s Jony Ive to design one-off Leica camera

High-end camera maker Leica announced on Monday that Apple design boss Jony Ive will design a limited-edition version of the company’s Leica M full-frame camera.
Only one of the ultra-exclusive cameras will be built, and it will be auctioned by U2 frontman Bono, with the proceeds going to charity, PetaPixel said on Tuesday.
It’s unclear what the camera will look like or how much it will fetch, but the shooter it’s based on boasts a 24-megapixel full-frame sensor, a 3-inch Gorilla Glass-encased LCD screen, and a $6,950 price tag.
