Suppliers, manufacturer named for 7.85-inch iPad
Digitimes, which broke the news that a smaller iPad could drop in the near future, reports that an iPad mini with a 7.85-inch screen is destined for shelves later this year. The site today revealed some of the suppliers it believes will contribute to the smaller tablet, including LG, which they say will handle the device’s display. As for final assembly, Digitimes says Foxconn isn’t in the cards. Rather, Pegatron will put the tablet together.
