5 Business Marketing Tips

August 22, 2019

Introduction

Read our tips from last week and still are stuck? No worries! We are back with 5 more excellent tips that businesses from all around the US have been implementing and found some success with. Curious? Let’s jump in:

1. Build a great way to get leads

So much of the effectiveness of marketing really just ends with creating a great way to get leads. The right lead magnet being presented to the right audience can have stunningly excellent results. The best way is if you can ID the right points of a want or a need and present a great solution, then you’re well on your way.

What problem(s) is/are your target market facing? What is your business’ purpose? You need to know these answers before moving forward. The more accurately you can answer them, the better you can address that situation with a viable (and profitable) solution.

2. Retarget your marketing with Facebook

One of the most effective strategies you can use to market for virtually anything is with ads on Facebook. Facebook will allow you to reach a very niche community easily so you can target by nearly every category you can think of.

Of course, your main attention should be spent finding a way to convert those leads into paying customers. Facebook Pixel is the tool that you will have to add to your site so you can track the people who come to your site and know how to create content that speaks directly to them and their interests and concerns.

3. Use LinkedIn

Here we suggest you to go for the best LinkedIn automation tools like SocialPilot, Linked Helper, Leonard, and Crystal, as they aid you in connecting with people on this widely popular professional networking site seamlessly.

If you don’t have a video on your LinkedIn profile already, you should think about making one right now. They are very easy to add. Give an introduction about who you are and what it is you do and a personal touch like what you find to be most fulfilling about your business. You will not be taking such an aggressive marketing approach and your market will appreciate that. But you may also find that they could be more responsive to that approach.

If you have many connections on LinkedIn and you’re not using it, then start today. Your audience will be enormous, because, just like any other social media site, content goes viral on there also. This is an excellent way to talk about your experience growing from a small business owner to one who has to hire managers now. Don’t be afraid to get personal. Talk about the challenges and the things that cropped up when you were first starting, but don’t forget to explain how you overcame those problems also. Entrepreneurs often struggle with a sense that few people know what they are going through and the sense of community can help keep them moving forward.

You should probably also consider reaching out to other business owners and work with other entrepreneurs on LinkedIn. This isn’t just a resource for everyone else, you can get a lot out of the experiences out of other business professionals also.

4. Get some Affiliates

Affiliate marketers can create a lot of fuel for growth. However, approaching the right ones isn’t easy. You will have to talk to them seriously if you want them to also take you seriously.

This one also takes persistence and can be discouraging at times, but this is one where you really have to keep your emotions out of your dealings as much as you can. These aren’t always successful right out of the gate, but many businesses have found that it is a great way to get more customers.

5. Use Email Marketing

A major player in the sales funnel is email marketing. Get some automated messages that will be sent as soon as customers subscribe to you. Then use their email as a direct line in to their inbox when you are promoting future deals. As always, be as upfront as you can be. Don’t trick them – ever. Build the relationship, then talk about money.

You can set multiple automated responses and trigger them to be sent out when a customer ventures further into your sales funnel, but here’s the key. Don’t constantly be asking them to purchase something. And don’t let them begin to think that is what you are doing. Then you will lose interest and, soon after, your following. Keep the content fresh, keep it engaging, and keep it coming.

Conclusion

This concludes our top marketing tips to help you increase your business. Of course, do your own research and see what works best for your business and your personal style of marking. If you have to put on an act, then your authenticity will suffer. Pay attention to your customers also. As you do, you will see what kind of marketing they react best to. Be patient and keep your content engaging.
