How to Reach Your Customers Instantly

October 27, 2020

Your business is only as strong as your customer base. When you have a larger base and more customers, your profits increase and you have more money to spend on your overhead expenses as well as more cash to put in your pocket. The problem that many business owners have is that they use old and outdated methods that take too long to reach customers. You can expect to find people with sale signs in your store or mailers that you send to your home. Using a mass texting service and other methods help you reach customers instantly.

Email Newsletter

People no longer check their email once a day at work or when they get home from work. They now carry smartphones in their pockets that let them view new emails as soon as they arrive. Creating an email newsletter is an easy way to reach customers instantly and focus on those who shop with you regularly. As long as you have a website, you can add an email sign up box that lets customers register in seconds. Adding some type of incentive gives them a reason to sign up such as offering a 10% coupon code when they register.

Master Social Media

Small business owners often do not realize the benefits of using social media. Those sites allow you to share new posts daily that go out to anyone who follows you. This is an easy way to let customers know about a new product that you have in stock or an upcoming sale taking place online or offline. Offering different types of content is the best way to ensure that customers find your pages and follow you. The more posts that you make, the more you’ll appear in their feeds. Make sure that you use compelling posts as well as photos and videos.

Use Referral Programs

A referral program offers some type of incentive for a person when they perform a certain action. Many websites have refer a friend programs that give existing customers a discount when they refer the site to a new shopper. You don’t need to offer a big discount as most customers are happy with 10% off or a code for free shipping. With this program, you offer a discount or code that goes to both customers. The original customer needs to refer a friend who gets the discount. You send the same discount to the regular customer when the referral makes a purchase.

Mass Texting Service

According to CDYNE, using a mass texting service helps you inform customers of a sale or special deal and encourage them to shop as soon as possible. Creating an email newsletter helps you get contact details for your shoppers. Once you add their phone numbers to the database, you can send out a mass text that reaches everyone on that list at the same time. This method has a high success rate and can get shoppers excited about your business. With these methods, you can reach customers almost instantly and give them a reason to buy from you.
