These Essential Tips will Improve your Website Design

November 1, 2019

If you look at your site and feel as though it is a little lacklustre then you are certainly not alone. There are so many other business owners out there who feel the same about their own site, but there are a few things that you can do to improve your site in general.

Create Content for your Persona

Did you know that people will judge your site within 5 seconds of landing on it? If your site has a high bounce rate, then this could indicate that your site content just isn’t gripping enough. One way for you to get around this would be for you to try and create a persona. You need something that helps you to stand out while also getting your message across. If you don’t then this could cause you major issues in the future and you may even find that your site performance suffers too.

Have Links

If you have a piece of content, then you have to make sure that you have quality links. There are a ton of companies who can help you with this, but if you just don’t know where to start then check out the Ocere blogger outreach service. When you have quality links this will build your authority overall and it will also help more people to find your site in general.

Have a Plan

You should never just start designing your site. In fact, you need to take your time and develop a plan. When you do, you will soon find that you are able to effectively meet the needs of your customers and that you are also able to map out your buyer’s journey much more efficiently. It’s also important that you guide your customers through the process too, and this involves having a quality site map.

Remove Distracting Elements

Certain elements on your site will detract from the value and they will also impact the message that you are trying to send. If you want to help yourself here, then you need to avoid complicated animations, stock website images or even content that is too long. You have to remember that your customer will only have an attention span of 8 seconds, so you only have this long to create a solid first impression.

Share and Follow

Great content will only get you so far. You have to make sure that you are giving your users the chance to share what you have so that you can reach out to a bigger and better audience. One way for you to do this would be for you to have social share buttons on your site. These are usually very easy to implement and you can usually do it through your site widgets.

Of course, making your site better overall doesn’t need to be difficult and when you follow the above tips, you will soon find that you are able to make the most out of our design without having to waste any time or money.
