Slot Games and Autoplay Feature – Pros and Cons

January 17, 2020

Autoplay feature at slot games has become standard in all slot games. With this feature you are choosing the number of spins that the slot will make and watch it get done automatically. You do not have to do anything, just pick the number of spins, press the button, and watch the reels turn. If you win the slot will stop momentarily to inform you about your reward and carry on turning. Some claim that this takes away some of the excitement from pressing the reels one by one, but online slots are not the same as traditional slots in standard casinos. Everything is digitalized so this Autoplay feature comes in handy for many gamblers. As with all things, Autoplay feature has its own pros and cons, so we will explore them. One of the major pros is that you do not have to press “spin” all the time, but you can just press once and watch the action. Online slots are faster than traditional slots, so this can be a good thing. When it comes to cons, one of them is that when you are losing, the slot will burn your money more quickly.

Why Gamers Use Autoplay Feature?

Gamers use this feature because it offers them fast-paced action without interruptions. Especially new players that use no deposit free spins find this feature helpful as they can play quickly and possibly earn money fast. Autoplay is quick, safe and nice way to keep the slot spinning. With Autoplay you can do some other things like talk on the phone or read book while the game is playing. That is pretty good option for those that are multitasking.

Using Autoplay feature is nice, but remember that it will not increase your chances of winning at slots. They are not a winning system, but only help you experience faster action while you can focus on other things. Players have different reasons why they do or don`t use the Autoplay feature so it is up to you whether you want to try it or not. It is another slot feature over which you have control. If you are not sure whether you like the game or not, just put it on Autoplay and see how it goes for you.

Also, if you have pressed the Autoplay feature, a good thing to do is to always pay attention to the spins. You may overlook some big win or you may get carried away and lose track of playing. After all, you certainly do not want all your money to get burned. That is why you should still remain focused even with Autoplay feature on.

In conclusion we can say that Autoplay feature is nice when testing a new game, using free spins bonus, or when you want the action to be over quickly without constantly pressing buttons. Almost all slot games in online casinos have this option included, so use it and see whether you like it or not.
